Richland Hills is a full service thoroughbred breeding and sales facility. We stand stallions, foal and breed mares, raise the foals, prepare horses for sales and act as sales agent at both Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton for our clients. A multitude of top stakes winners have been foaled and raised at Richland Hills including McDYNAMO (three time champion and millionaire), BLUMIN AFFAIR (graded stakes winner that placed in both the Kentucky Derby [G1] and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile S. [G1] while earning over $850,000), FLYING GLITTER (graded stakes winner of close to $600,000), CROWNED KING (graded stakes winner of over $580,000), and CERTIFIABLY CRAZY (multiple stakes winner of over $600,000) to name only a few.


As a testament to the type of sound, talented racehorses that we raise, Richland Hills (formerly known as Wafare Farm) has been the leading consigner at the Keeneland yearling sales by the percentage of starters for horses sold over the past five years. A remarkable ninety-six percent (96%) of the yearlings that we have sold at Keeneland have made it to the races and started.
